Service Times
|
The following are the regular service times for Emmanuel Assembly of God. Please
refer to the Bulletin or Calendar page for altered or canceled service times due
to holidays or special events.
SUNDAY SERVICES:
Sunday School 9:30am – This is a time of focused Bible study with a
unique class for many ages and interests. Sunday school classes are a time for interaction
and questions-and-answers. It is also a great time to get to know each other more
and develop friendships.
Morning Worship 10:30am – The Sunday morning service is a time
of worship to our Lord. We do this with praise and worship with music styles that
range from hymns to modern contemporary worship – wherever we feel the Holy Spirit
leading us. We also worship during the sermon while we dig into the Bible to see
what God has to teach us and how we can apply it to our lives.
Childrens Service 10:30am – During the Sunday morning service,
there are services that are specifically tailored for children in order to explain
God's glory at their level. The childrens services include times of praise and worship
as well as lessons from the Bible.
Evening Service 6:00pm – The evening service involves praise and
worship as well as a more focused Bible study.
MONDAY:
Mens Bible Study 8:00pm 1st Monday of the Month – This Bible study
is a time of shared Bible study among the men. It is a time to learn about God together,
share our struggles and questions, and encourage each other to stay focused on Him.
WEDNESDAY FAMILY NIGHT:
Adult Bible Study 7:00pm – Our mid-week Bible study is an in-depth
and focused study and is a great way to keep our focus on God during the work-week.
Outspoken Youth Group 7:00pm – The youth group service has praise
and worship and Bible study that are geared to reach the hearts and minds of our
teenagers. There is also plenty of time to just hang out together to make new friends
and catch up with old ones.
Missionettes (Girls) 7:00pm – There are several classes for young
girls during the mid-week service. Each one involves an interactive Bible study
to learn God's Word and a craft or object lesson to help understand the concept
from the Bible study. Missionettes learn how to become strong and devoted young
women for God.
Royal Rangers (Boys) 7:00pm – There are classes for young boys
that explain the lessons of the Bible in a way that they can relate to in their
lives today. Royal Ranger boys learn how to become young men with a heart for God.
THURSDAY:
Ladies Prayer Fellowship 9:30am – This is a time of powerful praise,
prayer, and Bible study. There are so many ways that this group of ladies, which
is open to all women to attend, reach out to the church and community as they learn
to serve and worship God.
SATURDAY:
Mens Breakfast 8:00am Last Saturday of the Month – This Bible study,
which includes breakfast, is an interactive study for the men. The study not only
includes a lesson with plenty of question-and-answer opportunities, but also a time
of fellowship to get to know each other.
