Emmanuel Assembly of God
Your Nursery Coordinator is Michelle. The nursery team and she loves children and have such a heart for them. They consider it an honor and a privilege to be able to minister to your children during the services. If there's anything they can do for you, please let them know and they'll do their best to accommodate your request.

What is the Nursery Ministry?
The Nursery is a place you bring your children to learn about the Lord. Even though they are very young we recognize that seeds are being planted in their hearts. The Word of the Lord is brought to them through the lesson times and the singing. The Bible has 410 references to children; we know that children are important to the Lord. The one that really catches the heart of this ministry is "Let the little children come to me. Don't stop them! For the Kingdom of God belongs to those who are like these children." ~Mark10:14 (NLT). Our staff is comprised of people who love children and strive to help them discover their love for the Lord.

When is the Nursery Ministry offered?
The Nursery is staffed for our Sunday morning 10:30 service as well as our Wednesday evening 7pm service. The room for the Nursing Mothers is also available during these times.

What ages is the Nursery Ministry for?
0-3

What is the Staff's qualifications?
A thorough background check is performed on everybody who works with our children. Nine of our staff are CPR/First Aid certified through the Red Cross and there will always be a certified person in the room with a non-certified individual. Two of the 9 individuals are currently working nurses. We also have a system in place in case of an emergency (anything beyond a Band-Aid or ice on a bruise) where we page one of our RNs/LNPs/EMTs from our congregation. If it's really an emergency, of course you will be paged, as well as a call to 911. We want you to feel safe leaving your children in our care.

What do my children do there?
When you drop off your child they will have free play until the rest of the children come, followed by a brief lesson, a time of singing, snacks and free play while they wait for you to pick them up.

What are the rooms like?
We have one room staffed for child care and another room available for our Nursing mothers. The room for our child care is always staffed adequately. It has recently been redecorated with murals for the children to enjoy. The room for our Nursing mothers is connected to the main service through a monitor where the moms can hear the worship and see the message. Lamps are used so the lighting is soft for your infant as well as a CD player for soothing lullaby music to be played. If you wish to lay your infant down, we have cribs available and all linens are washed regularly. This room is available for you to come and go at your convenience; you can stay for all or part of the service, it's up to you!
