Who we are...
Emmanuel Assembly of God is a local church affiliated with the General Council of the Assemblies of God, a worldwide fellowship of Pentecostal churches.

On behalf of my wife and myself, Pastor Robert and Daphne Coutts, and the congregation of Emmanuel, I would like to welcome you to our website. Where we are...
Emmanuel Assembly of God is located in the beautiful Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania, bordering the state of New Jersey. We encourage you to visit us if you are in our area. Please feel welcome to attend any of our services.

Our goals are...
1.To give people an opportunity to find Christ in our services.
2.To provide a meaningful worship experience for each person.
3.To give each one an opportunity to fellowship with believers of like faith.
4.To teach, reach, and train believers.

The message this church conveys is that Jesus cares for the souls of each person who will come to Him.

Be Still:
It may be cliche and overdone to say "Be still and know that He is God." But do we really stop and consider that? Ironically, probably not. We listen long enough for the words to form in our brain and then we move on. We have got to take that seriously.

So much so, that we can't "Be Still" by being busy for God. I mean, we need to be busy serving and obeying and worshipping. But we also need to just BE STILL in His presence. That is so excruciatingly difficult...just sit and listen to the God who is very much real, is passionately in love with you, and desperately wants to spend time with you.

Women's Christmas Party 2009:
340 Snowflakes filled the room, along with ladies, lights and laughter.
There was an array of delicious desserts that soon followed after.
Contest, games, Secret pals, and a Beautiful Ballet (Sarah Jayne)
Our guest speaker (Ruth Puleo) also had a word for us that day.
She reminded us that we are unique and special, God made us that way.
