Who we are...
Emmanuel Assembly of God is a local church affiliated with the General Council of the Assemblies of God, a worldwide fellowship of Pentecostal churches.

On behalf of my wife and myself, Pastor Robert and Daphne Coutts, and the congregation of Emmanuel, I would like to welcome you to our website. Where we are...
Emmanuel Assembly of God is located in the beautiful Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania, bordering the state of New Jersey. We encourage you to visit us if you are in our area. Please feel welcome to attend any of our services.

Our goals are...
1.To give people an opportunity to find Christ in our services.
2.To provide a meaningful worship experience for each person.
3.To give each one an opportunity to fellowship with believers of like faith.
4.To teach, reach, and train believers.

The message this church conveys is that Jesus cares for the souls of each person who will come to Him.

Tackling Easter:
Ok, on one hand this might be the dumbest video I ever posted. But on the other hand, it does bring to light, with humor, a good question - how are we celebrating easter? Is it just with chocolate in a basket? Is it just with bunnies and eggs? (which doesn't biologically make sense anyway) Is easter our "time to go to church"? Or is it just another holiday off of work?
In light of this silly video, think about why and how you are really celebrating easter. Or, are you celebrating easter? Or maybe think of the question reworded this way - how are you celebrating Resurrection Sunday?
Reread the account of what happened with the Cross and the Tomb. Attend the services that weekend (April 2nd to 4th) with an expectation of a blessing from God. You are more than welcome to visit us and celebrate with us. And I promise no one will tackle you.

Women's Christmas Party 2009:
340 Snowflakes filled the room, along with ladies, lights and laughter.
There was an array of delicious desserts that soon followed after.
Contest, games, Secret pals, and a Beautiful Ballet (Sarah Jayne)
Our guest speaker (Ruth Puleo) also had a word for us that day.
She reminded us that we are unique and special, God made us that way.
